Creating videos
Extend a video with a continuation
Give a source clip a continuation by describing what should happen next.
Updated
Video Extend is for continuing a source clip. Use Video Edit instead if you want to change something that already happens inside the clip.
- Open Create Video and choose Video Extend.
- Select a model and upload or choose the source video.
- Write a continuation prompt describing the next action, camera movement, and details to preserve.
- Choose the available extension duration and resolution. Check any source or total-duration limit shown.
- Review the credit estimate, generate, and preview the join between the source action and the continuation.
Example: Continue the camera's slow movement toward the coffee cup. Keep the same cafe, sunrise lighting, cup position, and realistic style. The steam gradually fades as the shot settles.
Video Extend uses one source video. Selecting another source replaces the previous selection. Keep the continuation visually consistent for a smoother result.
Try this workflow
