Creating videos
Edit a whole video or a selected section
Describe a change to a source video, or use In and Out points to target a section of it.
Updated
- Open Create Video and choose Video Edit, then select a model.
- Upload or select the source video and wait for compatibility checks to finish.
- Choose whole-clip editing or the selected-section controls available in the editor.
- For a section, set In and Out to whole seconds within the source. The selected duration must meet the model's displayed limits.
- Describe the edit, add optional image guidance where supported, and check the quote before generating.
- Preview the completed video, paying particular attention to the beginning and end of the edited section.
Example section edit
For a change between 3 and 8 seconds, set In to 3 and Out to 8. This selects a five-second section, if that length is supported. Ask for a specific change, such as replacing the background while preserving the subject and camera movement.
Selected-section editing returns a video with the edited section combined with the surrounding source footage. Check transitions and audio as well as the visual change.
Changing the selected model can change its duration and reference limits. Recheck the timeline and estimate after switching.
Try this workflow
