Billing and credits
Change plans or cancel automatic renewal
Review plan-change timing and stop or restore automatic renewal without confusing it with account deletion.
Updated
Change your plan
- Open Settings > Subscription and open the available plan options.
- Choose the plan and billing cycle you want. Review the total, timing, and any prorated payment shown before confirming.
- Complete any required payment and return to Subscription to verify the resulting active or scheduled state.
For eligible automatically renewed Stripe subscriptions, upgrades are charged immediately with unused-period credit applied and a new billing period starting on the upgrade date. Downgrades and same-plan billing-cycle changes are scheduled for the current period's end. Other payment arrangements may offer different actions; follow the confirmation shown for your subscription.
Stop renewal
- Choose Cancel automatic renewal in Subscription when it is available and confirm the action.
- Check that the subscription now shows its end date or cancelled-renewal state. Cancellation does not immediately erase the time already paid for.
- Before an eligible Stripe subscription ends, use Enable automatic renewal if you change your mind. After it ends, use the available new-subscription checkout.
Cancelling renewal is not account deletion and does not itself issue a refund. Always read the displayed effective date before confirming.
