What happens to Imagine Image Quality on November 2, 2026?
xAI redirects this model to Imagine 2.0 at Low quality from November 2, 2026. To choose Imagine 2.0's quality settings explicitly, open its dedicated model page and Create workflow. The regular Imagine Image model is unaffected by this announced redirect.
Does Image Quality have its own quality selector?
No. Image Quality is the model name. Its Insvee controls offer supported aspect ratios and 1K, 1.5K or 2K output, without a separate Low or Medium selector. Imagine 2.0 offers those explicit quality choices.
Can I edit an image with this model?
Yes. Choose Edit Image to change a source picture and guide the result with up to three source images. Text to Image is also available for a new composition from a prompt.
Are source images included in the credit estimate?
