Troubleshooting
Fix an upload or unsupported-reference error
Check file type, size, dimensions, duration, and model compatibility when media cannot be selected.
Updated
- Check the limits next to the active upload control. Requirements belong to the selected model and workflow.
- Verify that the file opens normally on your device and is a real image, video, or audio file of the stated type.
- Check size, dimensions, aspect ratio, duration, and frame rate where relevant.
- If needed, export a compatible copy using a trusted editor. Renaming the file extension does not convert its contents.
- Retry the upload and wait for processing to complete before selecting it as a reference.
If it worked in another tool
A file in your library is not necessarily compatible with every model. Switching models can change the accepted reference count, formats, dimensions, and duration. Follow the current selection message rather than repeatedly uploading the same bytes.
- For selected-section Video Edit, check the chosen In/Out duration as well as the original file.
- For start and end frames, check any matching-dimension requirement.
- For audio, check whether the workflow also requires a visual reference.
- Check available storage and account access if the file itself is valid.
A deleted reference's history preview cannot be reused as the original. Select an available asset or upload the original file again.
