Projects and media
Manage storage and delete media safely
Understand storage limits and the difference between deleting an upload, a project, and a public post.
Updated
Uploads and generated outputs can consume account storage. Check the storage information in your subscription area when uploads or new creation actions are unavailable.
- Download any finished media you need to keep outside the site.
- Review unused projects and uploads before selecting a delete action.
- Read the confirmation carefully: deleting a project, uploaded reference, folder, or Community post has different effects.
- Refresh your storage and project views after deletion. If you still lack space, review the available plan options.
- An upload used by an active generation cannot be deleted until that work finishes.
- Deleting an uploaded reference removes its reusable original. A small historical preview is not a restorable source.
- Deleting an AI Director project removes it and its workflow from your project views.
- A public Community post is managed separately from its original generation; remove the post separately if you want it off your public profile.
Do not rely on a customer restore button after deletion. Download important work first. An expired plan or full quota may restrict new uploads or creation even when you can still view existing work.
