Choose a character voice or upload a recording
Use a voice-enabled field to select a library voice or an authorized recording for compatible generation.

Character Voice is separate from character appearance. It is available only in workflows and models that support the relevant audio references.
- Open a voice-enabled field in AI Director or the compatible Create Video form.
- Browse the Voice Library and use the available language, accent, and other filters.
- Preview a voice before selecting it, or use the recording upload option when available.
- For your own recording, use clear speech with little background noise and follow the displayed file limits.
- Check that the voice and required visual references are selected before reviewing the generation quote.
- A voice reference guides delivery; it is not the same as writing the narration script.
- Some models require an image or video alongside an audio reference.
- A language selection does not replace the need for a script in the intended language.
- If a recording is rejected, check its format, size, and duration against the active model.
Only upload or use recordings you are authorized to use. Do not use someone else's voice to mislead people about their identity or statements.
